A specialized opportunity to support disabled students in their academic journey at the University of Edinburgh, providing targeted study skills support for students with specific learning differences and neurodiverse conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist study skills support and guidance
- Support students with neurodiverse conditions like AD(H)D, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia
- Deliver case notes and funding body documentation
- Maintain professional and empathetic approach in a dynamic educational environment
Requirements
- Degree level education in relevant professional subject
- SpLD qualification (preferably with AMBDA accreditation)
- Comprehensive understanding of neurodiverse conditions in higher education
- Strong knowledge of equality legislation and GDPR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
