1. Introduction

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Unibeez Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

By accessing or using the Unibeez website and digital platform (the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Unibeez operates solely as a digital intermediary that facilitates connections between Hirers and Candidates. Unibeez is not a party to any agreement formed between Users and makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes, job performance, or payments.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • "Candidate" or "Worker" refers to any individual seeking or accepting work opportunities through the Platform.
  • "Hirer" or "Employer" means any individual or organisation offering work via the Platform.
  • "User" means any person accessing or using the Platform.
  • "Content" includes all text, data, files, or other materials uploaded, submitted, or shared through the Platform.
3. Eligibility

To access and use the Platform, you must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country where any job is located. Hirers must be legally established business entities or individuals authorised to act on behalf of such entities.

By registering on the Platform, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Account Registration

To access most of the Platform's features, you are required to register an account. By doing so, you agree to provide accurate and current information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and notify Unibeez promptly of any unauthorised use or security breaches related to your account.

5. Use of the Platform
5.1 Use by Candidates

Candidates may use the Platform to create and maintain a professional profile, upload a CV, apply for job opportunities, and communicate with Hirers.

Candidates must not misrepresent their identity, qualifications, or eligibility to work.

5.2 Use by Hirers

Hirers may use the Platform to post job opportunities, review candidate profiles, and engage with potential Candidates.

By doing so, Hirers agree to:

  • Provide job descriptions that are accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory.
  • Comply with all relevant employment, tax, and data protection laws.
  • Offer compensation that meets or exceeds the applicable minimum wage standards.
  • Adhere to the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 by ensuring no forced labour or exploitation.

Hirers are solely responsible for their hiring practices and for fulfilling the terms of any job or contractual engagement.

6. No Employment Relationship

Unibeez is not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. It does not supervise, direct, or control Candidates and is not a party to any employment or contractual agreement formed between Users. All such arrangements are strictly between the Candidate and the Hirer.

7. Fees and Payments

Unibeez may from time to time charge fees to Hirers for the use of certain Platform features or services. Any such fees will be disclosed in advance.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any of the following conduct:

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Posting content that is offensive, defamatory, or misleading.
  • Attempting to bypass Platform security or access restrictions.
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
9. User Content

By submitting Content to the Platform (including but not limited to CVs and job postings), you grant Unibeez a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display such Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

You retain ownership of your Content. However, Unibeez reserves the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including branding, software, and design (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to Unibeez.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any portion of the Platform without prior written consent from Unibeez.

11. Ratings and Feedback

Users may provide reviews or ratings of other Users. In doing so, you agree to provide honest, fair, and lawful feedback and to refrain from making defamatory, misleading, or discriminatory statements.

Unibeez reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews or ratings at its discretion.

12. Background Checks and Identity Verification

Unibeez does not conduct background checks, identity verification, or right-to-work eligibility assessments.

It is the responsibility of the Hirer to verify a Candidate’s identity, references, qualifications, and legal right to work.

Conversely, Candidates are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of any Hirer, job offer, and payment arrangements.

Unibeez accepts no liability for the conduct or representations of any User.

13. User Disputes

Unibeez is not responsible for resolving disputes between Users. While Unibeez may, at its sole discretion, provide informal guidance or support, it has no obligation to intervene or mediate any disagreement.

14. Service Availability

While Unibeez endeavours to provide continuous and reliable access to the Platform, it makes no guarantees of uninterrupted service.

Unibeez shall not be liable for any delays, disruptions, or data loss resulting from Platform downtime.

15. Privacy

Use of the Platform is subject to the Unibeez Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal data is collected, stored, and processed. The Privacy Policy should be read alongside these Terms of Use. The Unibeez Privacy Policy must be accepted by all users who wish to access and use the functionality of the platform.

16. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate or link to third-party services.

Unibeez is not responsible for the content, functionality, or data-handling practices of such third-party services.

17. Disclaimers and No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Unibeez makes no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy or suitability of job listings or candidate profiles;
  • The reliability or availability of Platform services;
  • The conduct or outcomes of any User engagement.

All implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, are expressly disclaimed.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unibeez's total liability to any User shall not exceed the greater of one hundred pounds sterling (£100) or the total amount paid by that User in the preceding twelve (12) months.

Unibeez shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, opportunities, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or for fraud.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unibeez, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

(a) your use of the Platform;
(b) any Content you submit or transmit through the Platform;
(c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law; or
(d) your interactions with other Users.

20. Force Majeure

Unibeez shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet or power outages, government restrictions, pandemics, or cyberattacks.

21. Termination

Unibeez may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform at any time and without prior notice if you breach these Terms.

You may request the closure of your account by contacting support@unibeez.com.

22. Changes to These Terms

Unibeez reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page and become effective upon publication.

Your continued use of the Platform following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
