Role Overview
A specialized position supporting children and young people with autism through Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques. Tutors provide one-to-one teaching and intervention using evidence-based behavioural strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement individualized Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) programs
- Teach language, communication, social, academic, and self-help skills
- Collect and record detailed intervention data
- Collaborate with team members, parents, and school staff
- Attend weekly team meetings and receive ongoing supervision
Requirements
- Preferably undergraduate degree in psychology or related field
- GCSE grade C in English and Maths
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Natural enthusiasm for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively and receive professional feedback
