We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Fabricator/Welder with a mechanical mindset to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be fresh out of school or college, eager to learn, and committed to developing professional skills in metal fabrication and welding.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts using hand and power tools
- Perform welding on metal components, primarily focusing on aluminium sheets and profiles
- Conduct precise mathematical calculations for accurate measurements
- Create metal structures according to specific design specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges
Additional Work Areas
The role encompasses diverse manufacturing aspects including fitting, piping, electrical work, and hydraulics, with a primary focus on manufacturing truck bodies and trailers.
