Role Overview
A specialized tutoring position supporting an Autistic Year 7 student with one-to-one in-person lessons focusing on basic mathematics and English at year 3-4 level.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted 1-hour lessons in student's home environment
- Teach foundational English and Mathematics skills
- Work collaboratively with parents present during sessions
- Demonstrate understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with SEN and Autism support
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for individual student needs
- Comfortable delivering in-person lessons
