Role Overview
A dedicated teaching assistant position supporting pupils with speech, language, and communication difficulties in a primary school setting. The role involves providing one-to-one intervention and support across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with speech and language challenges
- Deliver targeted intervention strategies
- Support communication development
- Engage with pupils in an inclusive and supportive manner
Requirements
- Academic qualifications including degree or A-levels
- Experience working with children, preferably in special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Aspiring Speech & Language therapist background preferred
