Role Overview
An exciting apprenticeship opportunity with emh homes to develop professional carpentry and joinery skills through a comprehensive 2-year training program. You will work towards achieving a Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry & Joinery while gaining practical experience in affordable housing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete practical and theoretical training in carpentry and joinery
- Attend block release training at PfP Thrive training academy
- Develop practical skills in maintenance and construction tasks
- Maintain professional standards in customer service and workplace conduct
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Support community development initiatives
Requirements
- Genuine interest in joinery/carpentry
- Basic IT and keyboard skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good time management and motivation
- Preferably GCSEs in maths and English at grade C or above
