This role involves mentoring students, leading technical operations for both UCL and commercial productions, maintaining equipment and performance spaces, and creating a safe, creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical operations for theatrical and live events
- Provide expert guidance across multiple technical domains
- Mentor students in technical theatre skills
- Maintain theatre equipment and performance spaces
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a full-time theatre technician
- Proficiency in programming and operating lighting and sound consoles
- Strong understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage diverse workload
- Experience training students or young people in technical theatre
