Role Overview
A dynamic Functional Skills Tutor position within a not-for-profit work-based Training Provider, focused on delivering high-quality English and maths education to learners aged 16-25.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging functional skills sessions in English and maths
- Develop innovative learning resources for face-to-face and online delivery
- Support learners' individual learning needs and progression
- Collaborate with programme managers to enhance curriculum quality
- Provide mentorship and guidance to learners
- Conduct assessments and track learner progress
Requirements
- Teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching Functional Skills
- Strong skills in English and maths instruction
- Ability to work flexibly across day and evening sessions
