Role Overview
The Learning Academy Lanark is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Tutor to provide academic support to secondary students and adults preparing for SQA qualifications. This role involves delivering personalized mathematics instruction across various curriculum levels, including Advanced Higher mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions
- Develop tailored lesson plans using bespoke learning platforms
- Support students with SQA mathematics preparation
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Deliver both online and in-person tutoring sessions
Requirements
- GTCS registration
- Minimum 1 year classroom teaching experience
- PVG approval
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- IT competence
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
