A supportive role within a specialized independent school supporting students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism and ADHD. The position involves providing comprehensive academic and behavioural support in a nurturing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students during lessons, promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist teachers in delivering effective classroom experiences
- Provide support during dysregulation and classroom challenges
- Facilitate outdoor and therapeutic activities, including equine sessions
- Supervise students during break and lunch times
- Contribute to maintaining school environments
- Deliver planned interventions for individuals and small groups
