Role Overview
Alpha Tutoring Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced English tutor to provide personalized 1:1 tutoring for secondary and GCSE students in the South Oxfordshire area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one English tutoring for secondary and GCSE students
- Support exam preparation and literacy development
- Adapt lessons to individual learning needs
- Communicate student progress with parents and the Alpha team
- Demonstrate professionalism and genuine care for student success
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring/teaching experience
- Experience in teaching English at Secondary and GCSE levels
- A-level experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles
- SEN experience highly desirable
- DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one quickly
- Local to South Oxfordshire
