Role Overview
Exciting opportunity to launch a career in early childhood education at Almond House Nursery. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work collaboratively with experienced practitioners to deliver exceptional care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily nursery operations and care routines
- Assist with child care activities including nappy changing and bottle feeding
- Implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) learning principles
- Promote child development through play-based learning
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
Requirements
- Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check
- Commitment to complete paediatric first aid training
- Aspiration to achieve Level 2 or 3 qualification in early years or childcare
- Passionate about child development and education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
