An exciting opportunity to support student academic development within the School of Human and Health Sciences, working with Foundation Year students to enhance their learning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic skills support for individuals and groups
- Assist students with academic writing, including essays, reflections, and critical appraisals
- Support development of general academic skills such as time management, presentations, and examination preparation
- Guide students in information literacy, critical analysis, and research methods
- Enhance students' academic self-efficacy
Requirements
Experience in providing academic skills support or education to adult learners in health, social care, or related sectors is preferred.
