Role Overview
A dedicated tutoring position supporting a student preparing for their GCSE Mathematics retake with Edexcel exam board. This role involves providing personalized, engaging one-to-one tuition to help students improve their mathematical skills and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home
- Build strong rapport and trust with the student
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
- Track student progress and tailor future sessions accordingly
- Inspire confidence and a love of learning
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people
- Live within 40 minutes of SW8 area
- Availability on Tuesday or Thursday evenings
- Access to a printer
- Minimum education level: A-Level or equivalent
- 1 year experience in tutoring/teaching/mentoring
