Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated English tutors passionate about supporting post-primary students in Carrickfergus. This role involves providing personalized, engaging English instruction to help students develop their literacy, comprehension, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver motivating one-to-one and small group English lessons
- Support learners from Key Stage 3 through GCSE and A-Level
- Develop targeted lesson plans
- Track and adapt student learning strategies
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians
Requirements
- Degree in English, Education, or related field
- Minimum 1 year post-primary teaching/tutoring experience
- Strong understanding of Northern Ireland post-primary English curriculum
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional, patient, and approachable demeanor
