Role Overview
As a NEET Support Apprentice with Leeds City Council, you will play a critical role in supporting young people who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET). This position is integral to helping young people transition into further education, training, employment, or apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily telephone tracking to determine young people's status
- Provide initial information and guidance on post-16 options
- Proactively refer young people to support locations
- Engage with parents and carers to support youth engagement
- Utilize technology and social media for tracking
- Support team performance targets
- Apply Restorative Practice approach
- Promote safeguarding and welfare of children and young people
