Role Overview
Rodericks Dental Partners offers an exciting opportunity to become a Dental Nurse Apprentice, working side by side with dentists in NHS and private dental practices. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will provide essential patient care and support in a professional clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside support to dentists
- Ensure correct equipment and materials are available
- Support diverse patient needs
- Follow health and safety and infection control procedures
- Maintain clean and disinfected clinical areas
- Complete accurate patient clinical records and logs
Training Program
The 18-month apprenticeship includes comprehensive training with:
- On-the-job training
- Online learning
- Face-to-Face training sessions
- Record of experience completion
- Written and practical exams
Requirements
- GCSE Grade C+ in Maths and English
- Commitment to a 12-month+ training programme
- Comfortable in clinical environments
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
