The role focuses on helping students overcome learning barriers and achieve academic targets in Maths and English through personalized, supportive teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized academic support for SEND students
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Build supportive and confidence-building relationships with students
- Deliver targeted tutoring in Maths and English
Requirements
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, TEFL, TESOL, BA Ed)
- Proven experience working with SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of secondary curriculum
- Commitment to scheduled tutoring sessions
