Join the East Suffolk Services Limited Fleet Maintenance team as an HGV Mechanic Apprentice, supporting essential local services and gaining comprehensive technical experience in vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified mechanics with vehicle repairs, MOTs, and scheduled maintenance
- Operate workshop equipment including hydraulic lifts, welding, and grinding machinery
- Complete accurate maintenance documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
Requirements
- 4 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grades 9-3/A-E)
- Keen interest in vehicle mechanics
- Strong practical problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent team-working qualities
